Here are some “miscellaneous” events that happened in my life during the last month of 2008: (Those before Christmas, BianTaiGang’s PD trip and Count Down.)

30/11 – Ye Vone came to my house and baked cake, LOL. I had “helped” a bit but we had a great time together! Sweetheart and hubby, haha~

1/12 – Raymond gave me a call at 6pm on 30th of November and asked me to join them(Nicholas Tan, John, Eugene and him) for Genting trip right after their(except Ray) TOEFL ibt at Penang. Since it was so “urgent”, only Pauline and I managed to participate, LOL. We stayed for 1 night at Firstworld Hotel. Erm… The trip was kinda weird at first cause Eugene and Nick were in a “sick” situation, and they had slept for a whole day without joining the others for any Genting events. The remaining 4 of us went for a dinner treat at 1901, movie “Quarantine” at midnight (it’s neither interesting nor horror…>.

Ohya, I forgot to mention that Raymond was the first 1 who got sick, so the whole trip was like 4 sick guys and 2 girls. Pauline and I were so worried that we would get infected too, so we decided to take the “po zi yun” without a second thought to “protect” ourselves, haha… Anyway, the trip was still fun~

3/12 – Permed my hair for the first time in my life. I just feel like changing my hairstyle at that time. Kinda nervous. Luckily, after the stylist aunty tied my hair up, it looked a bit like princess (said by my brother), lol… I like it~

7/12 – Je suis desole.

9/12 – Again, went Sunway with Pau Line after checking stuffs about US Universities at INTI. Watched “Twilight”, damn nice!! Haha. First time showing Pauline the location of my house… Went to Sri Petaling Pasar Malam together in the evening. Then Pauline sent me to Ye Vone’s house. After resting for a while, Vone and me went to PM again… Haha…

13/12 – A great date with my BEST friends. 5 of us (Xiu Heng, Chong Yew, Huey Yuan, Ye Vone and me; Kah Mun had her Finals and Xin Ru was not free) went to sing karaoke Endah Parade’s ebox. Don’t laugh, we went there because it was the cheapest karaoke box on Saturday, haha! Xiu Heng fetched me and both of us went to fetch Chong Yew together as CY argued with his aunt, again. LOL. Finally I know where he is staying already, haha. We had a great time in the K box, really love the time we spent together.

We had our dinner at a café (previously as 2046) at Kuchai Lama (by Vone’s car). Then we headed to CY’s house. Got inside his house, with nice view and good environment. Met his “so-called fierce” aunt, his nephew and his grandmother. Rain started to fall and we rushed to Amcorp Mall which we were going to enjoy the ntv7 “shi fen hong” concert at the field. It was an unforgettable experience as we took off our shoes and walked to the VIP section (which we still have to stand). Put the plastic raincoats given by the organizer on the grass and we stood bare foot on it. Met Justin who I missed so much! Haha, I really had a long long long time never seen him already. He was with his girlfriend and gang, so we just chit-chat for a while and then separated again.

The show was quite entertaining, we really enjoy the part of JJ! Haha! Ohya, I think those who stood behind me were quite “beh-song” me, cause I was blocking their vision, haha, sorry lol. Kah Mun called Vone during the concert, we thought she was concerning about our gathering, yet, she just wanted to find someone to talk to as she was “burst-up” by her finals, haha. At the end of the concert when Janice was singing, we decided to leave as the night is no longer young (because XH and CY were both Cinderella, haha). We planned to wash our feet which are covered by mud at A&W, but they seem like they don’t welcome us, so we went to Vone’s car and clean our foot there. After that, we went to yamcha at PJ SS2, the ice kacang was so delicious! We really caught attentions from strangers as we were so noisy (some were my fault, cause I was laughing in a seriously high-pitched sound, haha). I enjoyed that moment so much as we were all talking and laughing. It’s like there’s nothing more to be worried of. J I love you guys!!

14/12 – I was a piano teacher on that day! Haha… I had replaced few classes for my piano teacher. Erm… It was a challenging and fascinating experience. I suddenly found that it’s easier to teach a Grade 5 student than the preliminary grade students. Cause I am familiar with the whole “lesson” for ABRSM candidates rather than just playing the songs they like. There’re little children who seem neither understand nor confuse with what you had taught. LOL. The “highlight” of the day was a pair of sister and brother. The younger brother acted just like Lizst, he prefers to play-in-memory, and he did not bring any pieces on that day! He just wanted to do theory, alright… And his elder sister who only feels free to play Jay Chou’s songs… LOL XD

15-19/12 – Stayed at home doing the last preparation for my TOEFL ibt at Penang KDU college.

19/12 – Went to SMK Confucian for Sin Chew student reporter’s training camp. It was the 23th camp already. I just went back and “visited” some of my 20th “old” friends. Miss them so much, we really had a long time never met each other. Luckily, we were still as crazy and “playful” as last time. Just kept on joking around and talking about our recent life. Um.. Well, the quality of our juniors is not that good, I guessed. They were not as respectful as last time. I still remember vividly that I greet every of my seniors without thinking anything, lol.

20/12 – Departed from KL to Penang. My parents and I had our lunch at Taiping. A friend/ex-worker of my dad paid for the bill and bought us some local snacks as souvenir. So embarrassed. Haha. Continue our journey to Penang (I drove). A “funny” and “exciting” event took place. When we left Taiping, my dad said we should fill petrol for the car, but then we couldn’t find any SHELL on our way. So we decided to travel through the Penang Bridge and fill the oil tank at the island.

HOWEVER, right after we paid the toll fees for Penang Bridge, an ENORMOUS traffic jam happened during non-peak hour. At that moment, our car’s petrol level was at the bottom line. Then my dad started to turn off the aircond. MY GOODNESS, I really prayed so that our car wont stuck at the middle of the bridge, cause there’s no other alternatives already. Fortunately, we still managed to leave the bridge and it was shown that we only left about 20km to go with the remaining petrol. Huuuuu…

All of us were damn worried at that time, haha. After that, my cousin -  Shu Khan picked us up at the island there and she bought us to the Red Rock Hotel where my parents would be staying on that night. But I had a bad impression on the hotel as when we opened the room’s door; inside was so messy and untidy. Obviously, they haven’t clean it up, and yet, it was already 4 o’clock…

After complaining about the room’s situation, we went to the Siamese and Burmese Buddha Temple. Later, we went to have our dinner at Gurney Drive. The food there was only okok, nothing really special. I was not really enjoying the food as I once thought that I lost my phone which I actually dropped it on the car accidentally. Took shower at the hotel and then went to my cousin’s rented house and slept.

21/12 – Had my TOEFL ibt at KDU College Penang. Em… The test was hard as it needs a lot of analytical skills. I was really nervous at the beginning when I saw the time limit passed so fast. I really hope that I didn’t ruin my result because of that. Haiz… The speaking and writing parts were better, I guessed? Really needs a lot of practices. I met an INTI-UC student there too, she helped me, but it was kinda annoying during the speaking test, cause she was sitting next to me and she started her test first, so I couldn’t concentrate on my test as her voice kept on interrupting me. I am really worried now… HAIZ… (Oh ya, I found that TOEFL pbt does not include speaking section 4 days before my exam. Yish, should take that 1, but people said pbt was more difficult than ibt… Suan le bah) Drove 4 hours continuously from Penang back to KL. Met brother at Sri Petaling for the “river fish” dinner, LOL.

(more to continue on Christmas, BianTaiGang’s PD trip and Count Down, cause there’re too much to write about all these, haha~~!! Please stay tune for my coming posts about BT gang’s events!!)
